camping mountain stone

You can often combine your camping trip with some exercise while enjoying some hiking and often climbing as well. It seems that the number one priority in setting out for a camping trip is having a good camping tent.

Because camping gear is a little bit less specialized, you would expect it to be easier to pick out. Always dress appropriately in layers for winter camping. Hiking can be done in any outdoor setting, but I personally love hiking in mountains.

On the east coast we simply put up with the rain. A tent which refuses to stay up due to some flaw is not going to be of much help to you and neither is a flashlight with no batteries or a first aid kit with outdated medicine. If you are going on a serious outdoor adventure, you should do some serious planning.

Many campers say that food never tasted so good as it does cooked over an open fire. Try to bring as much bottled water with you as possible.
